DescriptionCanon EOS R6 Mark II body + adapter EF-EOS-R description
Canon EOS R6 Mark II body + adapter EF-EOS-R. The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is a versatile full-frame mirrorless camera for multimedia creators, combining excellent photo performance with extensive video capabilities. An upgraded 24.2 MP CMOS sensor with updated processing delivers better AF, impressive 4K 60p 10-bit video and faster overall performance. In addition, the camera body has been updated for more intuitive operation, including a redesigned top panel for easier access to different shooting modes.
24.2 MP FULL-FRAME SENSOR AND DIGIC X PROCESSOR
In terms of performance, the R6 Mark II features a new 24.2 MP CMOS sensor that is versatile for both still and video shooting, performs well in low light and delivers spectacular and accurate colours. Capable of processing high-speed bursts and high-definition 4K video, the DIGIC X supports continuous shooting at up to 40 fps with silent electronic shutter or 12 fps with mechanical shutter, with AF and AE readouts before each shot. There is also a 30fps RAW burst mode that allows pre-shooting to record moments that occurred up to 0.5 seconds before the shutter was pressed.
SENSITIVITY
Enhanced processing improves low-light performance and the sensitivity range is now ISO 100-102,400 and can be extended up to ISO 204,800 for use in very difficult lighting conditions.
UHD 4K VIDEO RECORDING
In addition to stills, the R6 Mark II sensor also offers high-definition UHD 4K 60p internal video recording using the full sensor width and the ability to work with 10-bit sampling with Canon Log 3. In the case of slow motion playback, 180p recording up to Full HD resolution is supported. HDR-PQ recording is also available for HDR and external recording using the micro-HDMI port, which supports clean 6K output at up to 60fps. Unlimited recording time is also available, and the R6 Mark II features both microphone and headphone ports, as well as a multi-function jack to combine various accessories.
EXTERNAL 6K RAW RECORDING
Using the micro-HDMI port, raw video can be recorded when paired with a compatible external recorder. ProRes RAW up to 6K 60p is available using the full sensor width, as well as 3.7K raw recording with cropping. Autofocus and image stabilisation.
DUAL PIXEL CMOS AF II
The advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system features 1053 AF points covering the entire sensor area for ultra-fast, responsive and precise focusing. This phase detection focusing system also features enhanced subject detection and tracking, benefiting from deep learning technology, with the ability to intelligently recognise people, animals and vehicles. Subject tracking will automatically capture these subjects and maintain a sharp focus during shooting, even burst and movie shooting. Dual Pixel AF II's low luminance limit focuses down to an impressive -6.5 EV for precise focusing even in night conditions.
SENSOR-SHIFT IMAGE STABILISER
Image Stabiliser (IBIS) corrects up to 7 times unwanted camera shake when shooting handheld, helps with low-light shooting and reduces shake when shooting movies. This 5-axis system can also be used with lenses equipped with optical image stabilisation to compensate for up to 8 stops of camera shake, depending on the specific lens used. In addition, Movie Digital IS uses optical and sensor-shift stabilisation techniques in combination with Digital IS to provide more stable footage in motion.

1. Which mirrorless camera should I choose for better photo results?
Choosing the right mirrorless camera for better photo results depends on your individual needs and budget. The Sony Alpha a7 III is a popular choice, offering excellent dynamic range and efficient autofocus. The Canon EOS R6 also boasts high technical performance, including powerful image stabilisation. The Nikon Z6 II is another attractive choice with excellent dynamic range and high ISO sensitivity. It's important to consider the features of each model, the choice of lenses and the ability to suit your shooting style. It is recommended to read reviews and test equipment before buying, if possible.
2. What are the advantages of mirrorless cameras compared to DSLR cameras?
The advantages of mirrorless cameras over DSLR cameras include modern technology and lightness. Mirrorless cameras are more compact and lighter, making them more comfortable to carry. They often have a smaller body because they do not have a mirror system, which reduces the overall weight. The use of an electronic viewfinder allows the actual frame to be seen before the picture is taken, thus optimising composition and exposure. Mirrorless cameras have fast autofocus and some models may perform better in low light conditions. They also offer more creative options, including a range of filters and effects. The new generation of lenses offers improved performance and efficiency, contributing to higher quality photos. However, every photographer's needs are different, so it is important to consider your preferences carefully before choosing a camera.
