The Verbatim Keypad Secure 64 GB is a portable USB drive equipped with 256-bit AES hardware encryption and a built-in numeric keypad. This solution allows stored data to be protected with an access code without the need to use software-based encryption.

The drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and offers read speeds of up to 160 MB/s and write speeds of up to 140 MB/s. With a capacity of 64 GB, it can be used to store documents, business files, photos and other data requiring additional protection.

256-bit AES Hardware Encryption

Data stored on the Verbatim Keypad Secure drive is protected using 256-bit AES hardware encryption. Encryption is performed automatically and in real time.

Access to the contents of the drive is protected by a code entered directly using the built-in numeric keypad. The access code can contain up to 12 digits.

The password is not stored on the computer or in the system's volatile memory, meaning it is not transmitted to the computer when the device is unlocked.

Lockout After 20 Failed Attempts

The Verbatim Keypad Secure features a protection mechanism against repeated attempts to guess the access code. After 20 unsuccessful code entry attempts, the drive is locked and requires formatting.

This feature provides an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access attempts.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 Fast Data Transfer

The drive supports the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and is also compatible with USB 2.0.

Maximum transfer speeds:

• Read: up to 160 MB/s
• Write: up to 140 MB/s

The device is equipped with a USB-A connector. A USB-A to USB-A cable is also included.

Thanks to the hardware encryption mechanism, the drive can be used with compatible computers, laptops and TVs without the need for a software-based encryption system.

Compact Aluminium and Plastic Enclosure

The Verbatim Keypad Secure features a compact enclosure made of aluminium and plastic. The device measures 93.5 × 28 × 12 mm and weighs approximately 30 g.

LED indicators on the enclosure provide information about:

• power,
• USB activity,
• encryption status.

The drive is powered directly via the USB port.

Nero Backup software for Windows is included.

Nero Backup software is not supported on macOS.
