DescriptionCanon 35mm F/2.0 EF IS USM description

A 35mm prime lens with a four-stop Image Stabilizer and f/2 maximum aperture- ideal for low-light photography.
Ultrasonic AF is fast and accurate. An aspherical lens element boosts image quality.
Benefits:
- Up to four stops of image stabilisation
- Fast f/2 maximum aperture
- Ultrasonic AF for quick and accurate focusing
- Compact, lightweight design
- Eight-bladed aperture for smooth bokeh
- Moulded glass elements for consistent sharpness
- 0.24m minimum focus distance
Naturally, a wide viewing angle
Offering a natural perspective and a wider viewing angle standard lens EF 35 mm f / 2 IS USM is a good alternative to the traditional optical system 50 mm SLR users with a full frame. The EOS cameras with image sensor APS-C provides a viewing angle close to the angle provided by the lens 56 mm.
Image stabilization allows you to shoot in low light
You can shoot handheld in low light at shutter speeds up to four stops longer than normally recommended. Technology image stabilization (IS) automatically detects movement of the camera to track moving objects and off stabilization in the right direction.
Large maximum aperture of f / 2
Large aperture (even f / 2), you can shoot with a small depth of field. Use a clear picture in the viewfinder and relatively fast shutter speeds even under low light conditions.
Advanced auto focus
Enjoy fast and almost silent auto focus through ultrasonic AF motor ring. Full manual focus allows to maintain control.
Advanced optical design
Aspherical lens element ensures maximum image quality, and 8-blade aperture diaphragm for smooth bokeh effect beyond the point of focus. The EF 35mm f / 2 IS USM adjusts the focus to 0.24 m, allowing closer to the object.
compact design
The EF 35mm f / 2 IS USM is small enough that you always fit in the bag. It is perfect for work during the journalistic and street shooting.

1. How to choose the right lens for your DSLR camera?

Choosing the right lens for your DSLR camera depends on your photography style and preferences. If you enjoy portrait photography, a prime lens with a wide aperture (low f-number) can create beautiful background blur. For versatility, a standard zoom lens is a great option. Assess your needs and select lenses with features that align with your photography goals.

2. What are DSLR camera lenses, and what are their features?

DSLR camera lenses are specifically designed for DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) or SLT (Single-Lens Translucent) systems. These lenses have a compact design and are optimized for effective operation with DSLR cameras. They feature complex optical constructions that allow capturing high-quality images. DSLR lenses come in various focal lengths, from wide-angle lenses suitable for landscapes to long telephoto lenses ideal for sports or wildlife photography.
