Canon BG-E11 - is an optional battery grip with improved ergonomics designed specifically for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EOS 5DS and Canon EOS 5DS R. It can accommodate one or two LP-E6 batteries. Using two packs doubles the already impressive battery life compared to using a single LP-E6 pack in the camera. This is especially useful when using the camera's Movie mode or Live View mode - operating modes that use more power. In addition, with the included battery case, the camera can be used with six AA batteries. The BG-E11 also features full vertical shooting controls that can be independently switched on or off according to the photographer's needs to improve the control of the camera, especially when shooting vertical shots.
