The SmallRig Advanced "Rhinoceros" Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV 6031 is expertly designed to reduce strain and increase stability when shooting handheld, while offering extensive expansion options.
The kit includes the "Rhinoceros" cage, "Rhinoceros" top handle, "Rhinoceros" side handle, and HDMI cable clamp. The cage and handles are made of carbon fiber, making them extremely lightweight and portable—ideal for extended handheld use.
The cage features a three-point locking system that includes a bottom positioning pin, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw on the left side, ensuring secure mounting without deflection. Its sleek, aerodynamic design ensures unobstructed access to all controls on the camera's top panel for smooth operation. The top handle provides a comfortable grip, facilitating transport, low-angle maneuvering, and smooth camera movement.
The side handle combines a carbon fiber frame with a tactile leather cover, ensuring lightweight, comfortable, and stable two-handed operation.
With multiple mounting points —including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, cold shoe mounts, NATO rails, and QD sockets—the cage allows for easy attachment of handles, microphones (compatible with DJI Mic 2), lights, monitors, and other accessories.
An integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom allows for a smooth transition between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals). In addition, the hinged door in the battery compartment provides support for your pinky finger, while the included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable for stable data transfer.
