AXAGON External USB-C 10Gbps metal box for M.2 NVMe SSD disks

Fast external AXAGON EEM2-UB2 ARROW box with USB 10Gbps interface for M.2 NVMe SSDs. The double-sided USB-C connector on the box enables a reliable connection. In the package you will find an USB-C -> USB-C cable to connect the box to your computer.

The transmission rate is up to 10Gb/s thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface. The external M.2 box also supports other modern features e.g. UASP, TRIM and enables reading S.M.A.R.T. disk status monitoring information. Standby support when idle.

The advantage is the attachment of three different lengths of SSD cards - 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 drives can be single-sided or double-sided. The box does not limit the capacity of inserted SSD.

Opening the box via only one screw makes it easy to mount and dismount the M.2 SSD. Disk replacement is quick and easy, thus expanding the possibilities of using the box, e.g. for data migration, testing, etc.

The outer metal housing is made in black colour with an elegant finish, that prevents unwanted fingerprints.

Aluminum box body and thermal conductive pad provides very good M.2 SSD disk cooling. This extends its service life and also prevents the disk from slowing down, so-called Thermal Throttling.

By inserting the M.2 SSD in the box, you will easily create fast compact and universal external disk. The box can be used with computers and notebooks, as well as with mobile phones and tablets.

Higher box surface temperature is not a defect - thanks to the aluminum body, the heat generated by the disk operation is better drained and transferred to the environment.
