DescriptionFujifilm X-S20 + XC15-45mm Black + Vlogger KIT description
Fujifilm X-S20 + XC15-45mm Black + Vlogger KIT. Kit consists of Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera (Black) with XC 15-45mm lens, TG-BT1 grip and Rode Video Mic Go. Explore the unseen world with the Fujifilm X-S20! For both experienced photographers and newcomers, the Fujifilm X-S20 features a handy PASM mode dial that gives experienced photographers a familiar button layout, while offering beginners an intuitive way to immerse themselves in a storytelling journey. Lightweight and compact, the X-Series is the perfect companion for those who want to create high quality photos and outstanding videos. The Fujifilm X-S20 is suitable for everything from family photos to live broadcasts and offers unparalleled creative freedom. Vlog mode allows you to adjust focus with a single tap and bring the foreground to the foreground while shooting, for complete creative control when creating online content.
BEAUTIFUL COLOURS
Expect stunning colours in every frame. And thanks to improved image stabilisation (IBIS), blurry shots and images will be a thing of the past, even on the go. Enjoy up to seven stops of compensation for crisp, clear results. The Fujifilm X-S20 takes precision to the next level by combining the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with the X-Processor 5 image processing engine - a first for the Fuji X Series. As a result, it delivers ultra-fast processing and accurate and fast subject detection AF. Together, these features enable 6K/30p and 4K/60p video recording without the risk of overheating. Plus, you'll never miss an opportunity to create content thanks to the longer battery life. A single charge can take twice as many photos as the X-S20's predecessor, the X-S10. All the while, the X-S20's Vari-Angle LCD touchscreen lets you capture the moment in your own way - whether you want to take a travel selfie or a professional-level video.
VIDEO UPDATES
The updated X Processor 5 provides the biggest boost to the new model's video recording capabilities. This means that 4K/60 4:2:2 10-bit internal video and 6.2K open-gate video (3:2 format) are now possible. "Fujifilm has also included the F-Log2 colour profile, giving users an additional Fujifilm-rated grade that allows grading at base ISO 1250. If you want to use an external HDMI recorder, the camera can now output ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW if desired. If you're thinking that this camera is starting to look like a mini X-H2 then you're on the right track. The X-S20 is compatible with that camera's cooling fan, the FAN-001, which easily screws onto the back of the X-S20. This model also features a new headphone connector, eliminating the need for a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. Continuous recording time is a little problematic - Fujifilm tested the camera at 25 °C and it only lasted 36 minutes in the demanding 6.2 K mode. With the FAN-001, the operating time more than doubles to 78 minutes. The new 1080/60P LP mode is designed to make it easier for the camera to record for longer periods. Using a 1.29x crop, which means a smaller image sensor, the processor can take a break from binning or skipping lines; this mode can record for 32 minutes in 40°C heat or 78 minutes when equipped with FAN-001.
IMPROVEMENTS TO AUTOFOCUS AND SUBJECT DETECTION
Photographers also get an extra boost from the faster X Processor 5 on the X-S20. Fujifilm says it has added an improved autofocus algorithm, originally developed for the top-of-the-range X-H2S, so moving subjects and especially smaller objects should be captured more reliably. The X-S20 also inherits the X-H2 family's object detection modes. They can be individually selected in PASM or Custom modes. Choose from animal, bird, car, motorcycle and bicycle, airplane and train modes. If you are shooting in full auto mode, the camera will try to recognise and adjust the correct mode based on the subject in the frame.
BODY & CONTROL
The Fujifilm X-S20 is hardly a loud camera, thanks to its restrained styling that focuses on functionality rather than visual appeal. The compact size, DSLR-style grip and dual control dials are accessible - looking like an average camera. The functional highlights of the body have been adapted accordingly. Compared to its predecessor, many of the controls have been enlarged, with larger dials and more pronounced buttons, but the satisfyingly snappy rear control remains. The resolution of the articulating touchscreen has increased slightly, while the electronic viewfinder with its small OLED panel remains the same as on the X-S10. "Fujifilm has clearly tried to reinforce everything that photographers liked about the X-S10, including the choice of ports. It has USB-C with a power supply for charging, micro HDMI and a 2.5mm microphone jack, which can also accommodate a wired shutter release. The handset has a brand new 3.5 mm headphone jack. X-S10 users had to use a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, but X-S20 users can plug straight in.
LENS FUJIFILM FUJINON XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ
The Fujifilm XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 is a compact, handy lens designed for X-mount cameras with APS-C sensors. With a focal length of 23-69mm equivalent, covering a range from relatively wide-angle to small telephoto, the lightweight design - 136g - makes it comfortable to carry. Thanks to the electronic zoom function, this model offers smooth and precise zooming throughout the entire range, simply select the desired speed by turning the zoom ring and then use the camera. The XC 15-45mm's optical construction consists of 10 elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical and 2 ultra-low dispersion elements, helping to ensure optimum image quality and sharpness. Ideal for close-up photography with a minimum focus distance of 13 cm. The lens features image stabilisation up to 3 shutter speed steps as well as silent autofocus. The maximum aperture varies from f/3.5 to f/5.6 depending on the focal length and the minimum aperture is f/22.

1. Which mirrorless camera should I choose for better photo results?
Choosing the right mirrorless camera for better photo results depends on your individual needs and budget. The Sony Alpha a7 III is a popular choice, offering excellent dynamic range and efficient autofocus. The Canon EOS R6 also boasts high technical performance, including powerful image stabilisation. The Nikon Z6 II is another attractive choice with excellent dynamic range and high ISO sensitivity. It's important to consider the features of each model, the choice of lenses and the ability to suit your shooting style. It is recommended to read reviews and test equipment before buying, if possible.
2. What are the advantages of mirrorless cameras compared to DSLR cameras?
The advantages of mirrorless cameras over DSLR cameras include modern technology and lightness. Mirrorless cameras are more compact and lighter, making them more comfortable to carry. They often have a smaller body because they do not have a mirror system, which reduces the overall weight. The use of an electronic viewfinder allows the actual frame to be seen before the picture is taken, thus optimising composition and exposure. Mirrorless cameras have fast autofocus and some models may perform better in low light conditions. They also offer more creative options, including a range of filters and effects. The new generation of lenses offers improved performance and efficiency, contributing to higher quality photos. However, every photographer's needs are different, so it is important to consider your preferences carefully before choosing a camera.
