Designed to handle a wide range of lighting conditions, this camera offers a flexible ISO range of 100-32,000, expandable to ISO 51,200 for challenging lighting conditions. 6K upscaled UHD 4K 30p video recording is supported using the full width of the sensor, as is Full HD 1080 120p for slow-motion playback. In addition, 1 hour of movie recording is now possible. Capable of processing high-speed bursts and high-resolution 4K video, the DIGIC X image processor also supports continuous shooting at up to 15 fps via a silent electronic shutter.

In addition, the large 3.0" 1.62m-dot vari-angle touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for controlling focus points, navigating menus, and reviewing images. Make sure the right subject is in focus with the R50 mirrorless camera’s Movie for Close-up Demos mode. VERTICAL MOVIE MODE AND ASPECT MARKS

 

Movie rotation information can be set during or after shooting, allowing videos to be played back vertically when viewed on a smartphone. The Aspect Markers feature displays visual markers for different aspect ratios that may be required when posting the same file to different social media sites. This screen takes into account the proper composition of the various files being submitted, which can be created during editing.

 

 

 

 

FLEXIBLE CONNECTIVITY

 

Wired and wireless connectivity options allow for a variety of ways to transfer photos and videos, live stream, and control the camera remotely. Built-in Bluetooth pairing makes it easy to connect the camera to compatible smart devices using the free Canon Camera Connect app. This low-power wireless connection helps conserve battery life while allowing you to control the camera remotely. It also sends constantly updated GPS location data from your phone so you can tag what you’ve captured so you know exactly where you took the photo. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity enables fast and seamless wireless connectivity features such as remote live view, file preview and transfer. You can also transfer files to your mobile device for browsing and sharing on social media using the Canon Camera Connect app. Built-in USB-C lets you connect the camera to a smartphone or computer. All the features of the Canon Camera Connect app that can be used with Wi-Fi are now available when the camera and smartphone are connected via USB using a compatible cable from your device.
