Amaran P60x - 3 Light Kit

The amaran P60x is a 60 W bi-colour LED panel belonging to the latest generation of amaran LED panels. The amaran P60x builds on and improves upon many of the features of previous amaran panels, including battery power and charging and compact housing, by providing an extended range of bi-colour CCTs, increased durability and control of the Sidus Link application. The amaran P60x is a next-generation lighting solution for all types of developers, combining features that make these panels the best LED panels in their class.

 

 

UNIQUE LED CONFIGURATION

 

Using a 60 W LED with a maximum output of 78 W, the amaran P60x is capable of emitting 5,070 lux at a distance of 1 metre (5600K) thanks to an optical design that provides a 45° beam angle. In its compact form lies the ability to compete in challenging lighting conditions to make your subject shine. The amaran P60x uses a unique LED configuration that creates more organic shadows and reduces the obvious multi-shadow effect caused by tightly gridded LEDs.

 

 

 

WIDE COLOUR TEMPERATURE RANGE (CCT)

The amaran P60x bi-colour LED chipset provides natural colour temperature control from 3200K to 6500K, extending the bi-colour range to match the colour temperature of almost any environment.

 

BEAUTIFUL COLOUR COMPLETENESS

 

Designed with best-in-class LED technology and precision-engineered optics to achieve smooth colour blending and more organic shadow shaping, amaran P60x boasts flawless colour quality and skin tone reproduction. The dual-colour LED chipset can achieve a CRI of 95+, TLCI of 97+, SSI (tungsten) of 84 and SSI (D56) of 72, delivering colours on par with the best luminaires in the film industry.

 

 

CONVENIENT POWER OPTIONS

 

In addition to traditional AC power, the amaran P60x can be powered by two Sony NP-F batteries with a maximum output of 78 W. Two NP-F970* batteries can power the amaran P60x for over an hour. Building on the features of the previous generation of amaran products, the amaran P60x also has an integrated charging circuit that allows charging of the Sony NP-F batteries when the luminaire is connected to an AC power source. With the D-Tap power cable (2-pin)*, users can also use the amaran P60x with D-Tap V-Mount and Gold Mount batteries. *Batteries and power cable are not included.

 

 

ILLUMINATION FX

 

"The amaran P60x is capable of a range of Lighting FX features that take full advantage of the dual-colour LED chipset, including: Paparazzi, Strobe. Fireworks and Pulses.

 

 

CONTROL WITH SIDUS LINK APP

 

Lighting should be fun and simple. With the integration of Sidus Mesh, the amaran P60x gives you professional lighting control with a single app, so you can adjust your lighting without leaving the camera. Mesh technology means that every luminaire in the Aputure and amaran product lines will automatically connect to each other, extending your network range. With the Sidus Link app, you can control up to 100 luminaires from your smartphone or tablet. You can fine-tune each luminaire by adjusting aspects such as brightness, colour temperature, built-in effects and even programme effects between multiple luminaires.
