options Sodium-Ion (Na-Ion) batteries are versatile and maintenance-free batteries suitable for a wide range of applications, such as caravans, boats, battery storage, drives with electric motors, carts and many others.
The main advantages of Na-Ion or sodium batteries include a long service life of up to 20 years while maintaining 80% capacity. The advantage is significantly higher safety compared to other types of batteries, the ability to charge at temperatures below freezing, significantly faster charging and the possibility of deeper discharge without affecting battery life. They tolerate temperatures down to -40°C very well.
They are designed as an ecological alternative to lead-acid batteries, offering high utility and performance. They provide a high number of charging cycles and good capacitive stability even under extreme temperature conditions. The advantage of these batteries is also the better availability of sodium over lithium, which allows for less expensive and sustainable production.
The Electronic Battery Management System (BMS) monitors and balances the individual battery cells and protects the battery against underdischarge and overcharging.
The batteries can be connected to each other in series or in parallel.
