The Sigma 50 mm f/2 DG Contemporary is the next model in the "I Series" range, with an f/2 aperture, a solid metal body and optical performance comparable to the popular 50 mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens in a more compact design (with a body that is more than a third shorter and almost half as light). Of course, flare is minimized in the optical system and a precision AF motor for seamless autofocusing in still and video shooting. 5/2023.
