As a frequently used focal length, this lens pursues uncompromising compactness and lightweight design. One FLD glass element, three SLD glass elements, and three double-sided aspherical lenses are effectively arranged to achieve an approximately 30% shorter length and 50% lighter weight compared to the predecessor, Sigma 16mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary. As the lightest lens in the Sigma F1.4 DC series, it accelerates creative freedom by further enhancing the mobility of APS-C cameras.
